Elizabeth Freeman Center (EFC) is looking for a compassionate and committed counselor/advocate to join our Pittsfield office. This role supports survivors of domestic and sexual violence, including work with children and youth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support and counseling to survivors of domestic and sexual violence
- Help survivors with safety planning, emergency needs, housing, benefits, and more
- Offer individual and group counseling
- Connect clients to other EFC programs and community services
- Provide children exposed to domestic or sexual assault violence with support, advocacy, and assistance
- Participate in outreach, education, and community events
- Keep accurate computer records and maintain confidentiality
- Support EFC’s mission through all work
Schedule:
40 hours per week. Occasional evening and weekend work required for outreach and counseling activities
Compensation & Benefits:

The salary range for this position is $47,840/year to $52,000/year commensurate with experience. EFC pays 85% of health insurance premiums and contributes to an FSA.
