Industrial Mechanic - Night Shift 5 pm to 5 am & Sign On Bonus

This position is responsible for supporting and promoting all company goals including an injury free work environment through safe work practices. This position requires regular teamwork with the other maintenance team members as well interaction with other disciplines, unit managers and supervisors and process engineers.

• Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and improve mechanical equipment and components. (pneumatic/hydraulic components, bearings, gearboxes, pumps, etc.)
• Perform basic machining
• Maintain and rebuild vacuum pumps, hydraulic pumps, chemical feed pumps, centrifugal pumps, gear pumps, vane pumps, auger and screw pumps and pneumatic diaphragm pumps
• Perform millwright tasks
• Perform basic welding and fabrication tasks
• Perform Preventive, Predictive, and Emergency Maintenance.
• Participate in the development and coordination of engineering projects, including design, procurement and installation of new equipment and modification of existing equipment
• Responsible for performing various maintenance tasks using the Maintenance Work Order System.
• Reporting of any injury or incident
• Completing safety orientations

This position qualifies for a $2,000 sign on bonus

Plaskolite seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:
• High School diploma, high school math and measurement skills, willingness to work on computer technology, and have an understanding of how information reporting through computer software has an impact on decisions
• Ability to work 12 hour shifts (5:00 pm to 5:00 am) in a 2-2-3 routine schedule (including every other Saturdays and Sundays) and overtime (mandatory and voluntary) as business demands require.
