The Adams Fire District Fire Department is seeking a motivated, dedicated, and community-oriented individual to join the Adams Fire Department as a firefighter. This position involves protecting life and property through fire suppression, supporting emergency medical services, rescue operations, and public safety education.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Respond to fire alarms, medical emergencies, rescues, hazardous material incidents, and other emergency calls
- Operate firefighting and emergency equipment, including engines, ladders, hoses, and medical gear
- Provide emergency medical care at the appropriate certification level
- Participate in fire prevention, inspections, and public education programs
- Maintain fire apparatus, equipment, and station facilities
- Engage in ongoing training, drills, and professional development
- Work collaboratively with other public safety agencies
