We have an opportunity for you at the Berkshire Visitng Nurse Association! 

The Patient Access Manager position plays a key part in ensuring there is optimal customer service received by all referral sources; the documents needed to admit and re-admit patients are correct and timely; the demographic and clinical data needed to start care is complete and accurate; and that Clinical Managers have all of the information they need to proceed to schedule patients for care.

This position is also critical in ensuring optimal relationships with referral sources and that referral sources are satisfied with the quality of services provided to their patients.

  • Two years of progressive and versatile nursing and management experience including at least one year in management in home care required.
  • Demonstrated experience in leadership, problem solving, team building, budgeting and coaching.
  • Experience in preparing, monitoring and enforcing budgets and staffing patterns.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills in relating with all types of colleagues and customers in stressful situations.
  • Thorough and current knowledge of all homecare regulatory requirements and demonstrated expertise in implementing quality systems to meet these regulations.
  • Ability to work autonomously at a leadership level and to exercise independent judgment
