Berkshire Health Systems seeks a Clinical Manager IV Therapy Department. 

  • Full-time
  • 40 hrs week
  • Monday through Friday

The Clinical Manager (IV Therapy) is responsible for the daily operations of the IV therapy department and Community Infusion at the Hillcrest Campus. They will provide supervision of the daily operations on the nursing units, and acts on behalf of the organization, providing supervision for staff members. They will participate in the hiring process and disciplinary action as necessary. Demonstrates knowledge of and assures compliance with accrediting/regulatory agency standards, hospital and departmental policies and procedures and customer service standards.

  • POSITION QUALIFICATIONS (Minimum qualifications are required unless stated otherwise.)
    • Experience:
      • Current management/leadership experience required.
      • Three years of progressive experience in the service or profession.
    • Education and Training:
      • RN required.
      • BSN required, Masters Degree preferred.
    • License, Certification & Registration:
      • RN License - Currently licensed as an RN in Massachusetts
      • CRNI - Certified Registered Nurse Infusion.
      • PICC certified.
      • Chemo certified.
    • Other Requirements:
      • Viewed as a role model for professionalism.
      • Ability to interpret and administer policies.
      • Demonstrates leadership ability and communicates a strong work ethic and commitment toward excellence in the healthcare service or profession.
      • Excellent interpersonal skills; communicates effectively with patients, family members, physicians, management and staff.
      • Well organized and able to handle a variety of complex assignments simultaneously.
      • Demonstrated understanding of Joint Commission and other regulatory standards.
      • Demonstrated dependability.
      • Documented effectiveness in confronting problems and resolving conflict.
      • Knowledge of software applications (Excel, Outlook, Word) preferred.
