Administrative Director -Berkshire Medical Center, Shift: Evenings, 32 hrs

Bachelor's Degree
Required
Up to One Year
MA RN License - Preference: Required
BLS and ACLS - Preference: Required
PAC and TNCC - Preference: Preferred

This role is responsible for directing the operation of the hospital on evenings, nights and weekends. This direction includes responsibility not only for the inpatient units, but for all ancillary and support departments that operate during these hours.

  • Schedule: Tuesday-Wednesday-Thursday-Friday
  • May be required to work other shifts and days to help cover for time-off, or initiatives.

Experience

  • One year of successful leadership experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience in successful conflict resolution required.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Nursing, Business or Allied Health field. MSN preferred.
  • Documented evidence of continuing education and continued professional growth and progress in health care and nursing required or preferred.

License & Certifications

  • Current Massachusetts RN license required.
  • BLS and ACLS required.
  • PAS and TNCC preferred.

Additional Requirements

  • Demonstrated working knowledge of the daily operations of an acute care Medical Center, including experience handling emergency/trauma and critical care situations required.
  • Working knowledge of staffing systems preferred.
  • Recognized as a role model for clinical expertise; documented ability to make prompt, quality decisions in the clinical setting.
  • Demonstrates sufficient energy to participate in and support staff through change.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and evidence of fairness and consistency in application of policies and contractual requirements.
  • Ability to calmly manage a variety of intense activities or problems simultaneously.
  • History of dependability in maintaining a work schedule and demonstration of work ethic required to motivate others.
