Position Highlights

Monitors heart rhythms using telemetry equipment to identify, record, and report normal and abnormal patterns, ECG intervals, and pacemaker/defibrillator function. Determines when rhythms are normal, abnormal, or life?threatening and promptly alerts clinical staff. Uses strong judgment to recognize early signs of dangerous arrhythmias to ensure timely medical response.
Experience:
- Demonstrated medical terminology, human relations and effective communication skills are also required.
Education and Training:
- Successful completion of Rhythm Recognition course.
