Kripalu is looking for a Healing Arts Operations Manager who is able to work a flexible schedule (nights, weekends, holidays).

Hours Are:

Monday  9am-5:30pm, Tuesday (Off), Wednesday (Off), Thursday 1pm-9:30pm, Friday 12pm-8:30pm, Saturday 10am-6:30pm, Sunday 9am-5:30pm

The Kripalu Healing Arts Operations Manager is responsible for the daily operations of the Healing Arts department . The Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring that the department meets departmental objectives including high-levels of customer satisfaction, administrative duties, employee morale, overseeing the Healing Arts Advisors and the Healing Arts department in the absence of the Director. 


  • Provides strong leadership with dedication to onboarding, training, mentoring, and motivating the team including therapists, supervisors and reception staff.
  • Responsible for leading the team to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction as well as support the operations of Healing Arts
  • Handles guest recovery following departmental guidelines. Build effective relationships with guests and identify guest’s expectations. Track guest follow through until completion.
  • Analyze and solve any billing mistakes and questions in a timely fashion.
  • Effectively manage advisors schedule so that departmental and organizational needs are met.
  • Willingness to learn the Healing Arts systems and processes.
  • Interfaces with multiple internal departments and external vendors to insure strong communication and client/customer satisfaction
  • Works with the Healing Arts Leadership team to develop policies and procedures that support the goals of the department to generate sales, operate efficiently, provide excellent customer service, and build a positive work environment.
  • Leads the department in the absence of the Healing Arts Director.
  • Responsible for evening and weekend supervision of the department.
  • Analyzes customer feedback and provides strategic direction to continuously improve overall guest experience.
  • Partner’s with the Director to ensure compliance to professional standards, state and local licensing and regulations as they affect the area within the organization.
  • Maintains and develops external relationships with local training organizations.
  • Maintains and develops a culture of best practices in staff health and safety in conjunction with Safety Committee.

  • BA or an equvaliant of 3 years experience or Associates Degree or an equvaliant of 3-5 years experience
  • Proven ability to lead to a large group of both professional and guest services staff.
  • Excellent computer skills 
  • Knowledge and experience of property management software or willingness to learn
