The Behavioral Health Aide provides support services for the clinical team, providing resident
supervision and ensuring resident participation while in the facility. Behavioral Health Aides work within
the guidelines of BHCS policies and procedures, and must adhere to all laws governing the facility.
Essential Job Functions:

• Escort residents to/from various places.
• Assist with activities and engage with residents.
• Assist nurses, nursing assistants, and care team.
• Document relevant information regarding the residents’ activities.
• Therapeutic assistance as needed.
• Others as deemed necessary and appropriate, or as may be directed by the Director of
Nursing or Administrator.
