STAFF ACCOUNTANT

Established real estate development company in Williamstown, MA is currently looking for a full time experienced and self-motivated Staff Accountant.  Candidates should have exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.  The position is full time with an excellent pay and benefits package which includes health insurance, dental and 401k.   Please send resume.  An EOE.

Key Responsibilities (will be for multiple entities)

  • Accounts Payable Processing
    • Reviewing invoices for accuracy and approvals
    • Coding accurately to general ledger accounts
    • Processing checks
  • Bank Reconciliations
    • Review and reconcile bank transactions
    • Cash management
  • Sales Reconciliations
    • Data entry
    • Tracking
    • Maintenance
  • Monthly Financial Statement Preparation
    • Prepare supporting schedules
    • Process journal entries

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with a concentration in accounting
  • Minimum 5 years of accounting experience
  • Must be highly proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Adobe
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent data entry skills
  • Demonstrates a sense of urgency and the ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and as a team
