Williams College is seeking an experienced senior executive to lead and manage administration of the Williams Center for Development Economics - a specialized master's program in economics for rising policy-makers from developing nations. Find out more about the CDE here: https://cde.williams.edu/

The Director of the Williams Center for Development Economics (CDE) leads an annual search for promising public-sector economists from developing nations and ensures that participants are supported to enroll and train within a leading US liberal arts college. Since opening in 1960, the CDE program has trained more than 1500 graduates from 110 nations. Individual CDE alumni have risen to prominent positions in their countries including minister, central bank governor, ambassador, and even prime minister.

The CDE Director's main responsibilities span four areas: recruiting and admissions: financial planning and development; student services and alumni engagement; and management of day-to-day operations. Internally, colleagues on the Williams College staff collaborate in many of these areas, but the CDE Director will be expected to lead and prioritize initiatives. Externally, the CDE Director maintains primary relationships with stakeholders including CDE alumni, donors, and partner institutions such as foreign governments, private foundations, and international financial institutions.
