purpose of the position
AS A KITCHEN TEAM MEMBER, the core role is to work collaboratively with the team to prepare the kitchen and its stations for service. THIS ROLE MAINTAINS CONSISTENCY IN MENU PREP, TIMING, PLATING, AND CLEANING. MAINTAINING A CLEAN + ORGANIZED STATION IS A MUST. THE DUTIES OF THIS POSITION MAY CHANGE FROM TIME TO TIME.

UNDERSTANDING AND CONTRIBUTING TO OUR OPERATING PROCEDURES AND SERVICE STEPS IS CRUCIAL FOR THE RESTAURANT’S SUCCESS. MAINTAINING CONSISTENCY IS A MUST: FROM PROCESSING DELIVERIES AND RAW INGREDIENTS TO EFFECTIVELY SETTING UP AND BREAKING DOWN STATIONS, AND ADHERING TO COMPANY RECIPES. POSSESSING A HIGH LEVEL OF ORGANIZATION AND ATTENTION TO DETAIL IS ESSENTIAL FOR SUCCESS ON OUR TEAM.

- UPHOLD HEALTH AND SAFETY STANDARDS FOR FOOD SERVICE
- PRACTICE FIFO + MAINTAIN INVENTORY
- MAINTAIN CONSISTENT QUALITY FOLLOWING ALL STANDARDIZED MEZZE RECIPES + MODIFICATIONS
- TASTE THE FOOD FOR PROPER SEASONING
- PREPARE ASSIGNED STATION FOR SERVICE WITH QUALITY CONSISTENCY
- MAINTAIN FOCUS AND CALM DURING SERVICE, WHICH CAN BE HIGH-PRESSURE
- IT'S ESSENTIAL TO STAY ORGANIZED AND COMMUNICATE WITH THE TEAM
- PARTICIPATE IN DAILY CLEANING OF THE KITCHEN AND EQUIPMENT
- ACTIVELY PARTICIPATE IN TEAM MEETINGS
- ADHERE TO INTERNAL HR POLICIES
