3rd Shift Machine Operator – Manufacturing

Shift: 3rd Shift (Overnights)
Pay: $20/HR
Location: Pittsfield, MA

About the Role
Our client looking for a reliable 3rd Shift Operator to run machines, inspect and package parts, and help keep production on schedule. You’ll work under the supervision of a Shift Supervisor or Product Specialist. This is a Temp to Hire position.

What You’ll Do

  • Operate machines, assemble, inspect, and package parts according to work instructions

  • Review shift notes and hand off to the next operator at shift change

  • Complete production and scrap paperwork accurately

  • Perform simple finishing tasks (trimming, degating, packaging)

  • Monitor quality and immediately report defects or process changes

  • Keep work area clean and organized; assist with general housekeeping during downtime

  • Follow all safety procedures and never bypass machine safety features

  • Perform other duties as needed to support production

What We’re Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

  • Prior manufacturing or injection molding experience a plus

  • Ability to read/follow instructions and complete basic math

  • Good communication, attention to detail, and legible handwriting

  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs., move large containers with a pallet jack, and perform frequent bending/twisting

  • Comfortable with repetitive tasks and standing or sitting for long periods

  • Available for overtime as needed

Work Environment

  • Noisy manufacturing floor (ear protection provided)

  • ISO 13485/9001 standards followed

  • Light to moderate physical activity with safety equipment provided
