Licensed SLPA with the MA Board of Allied Health - Preference: Required

The Pittsfield Public Schools is seeking applicants for the position of Speech Language Pathologist Assistant. The SLPA provides direct speech/language services and screenings to students, preschool through high school, who have disabilities.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communications Disorders (or graduate of a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant Program)
  • Current Registration as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
  • Licensed with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Board of Allied Health
  • Experience providing speech therapy in schools
  • Experience working with school-aged children
  • Knowledge of assistive technology
  • Good verbal/written communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
