MA DESE Certification School Nurse All Levels - Preference: Preferred

School nurses provide basic care for injuries and illnesses, and manage chronic conditions. They also administer medications, such as analgesics, antihistamines, and antibiotics. Candidates should also have knowledge of state health regulations, school laws, and policies.

Experience in pediatrics and/or public health; CPR/First Aid trained;

Bachelor of Science in Nursing required

MA DESE Certification School Nurse All Levels

(Master’s Degree or National Certification in School Nursing (NCSN) is needed as part of DESE requirements)
