Body Shop Technician

$2,000 sign on bonus. ($500.00 paid after completion of 3 months, $500.00 paid after completion of six months and $1,000.00 paid after completion of one full year)

T&M Auto is growing and needs to add another experienced Auto Body Technician to the team. Our technicians' are expected to perform repairs to automotive body including disassembly and reassembly while following the written repair order and adhering to T&M Automotive’s technical repair processes.
We are ISO 9001 registered and as such has us working specialty products that are sometimes not automotive related.
Responsibilities:
• Review and prioritize repair needs of vehicle
• Read and follow work orders.
• Follow production schedule and T&M Policies.
• Work in harmony with all T&M staff.
• Communicate and work closely with administrative staff

• 5+ years collision repair experience
• Experience with light and heavy structural repair, including welding and fabricating experience
• Experience use and operation of frame straightening equipment.
• Above average quality focus.
• High production capabilities.

Must have own tools and be organized and follow instructions both verbal and written.

Must maintain a valid state driver’s license in order to drive any customer or company vehicle.

Predictable and reliable attendance required

Physical Requirements:

• Periodic lifting and carrying objects over 50 pounds.
• Reaching above and below shoulder level.
• Extended periods of kneeling, bending, squatting and stooping to complete or inspect repairs.
• May be exposed to repetitive tasks involving hand and arm motion.
• May be required to inspect vehicles outdoors in inclement weather.
• May be exposed to fumes, chemicals, high levels of dust and noise in repair center.
• Must be able to wear protective equipment,including respirator.
