AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN / MECHANIC

T&M Auto Sales & Service is looking to add an experienced Automotive Technician / Mechanic to our team.
We offer a clean, air-conditioned shop, steady year-round work, and a work environment where
experienced technicians are trusted to do their jobs properly. Pay is based on experience and ability.
The primary responsibility of this position is diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicles efficiently and correctly. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, can work independently, solves problems, and works well as part of a team.

Experience with mechanical repair and tire installation/repair is required. Experience working on trucks, oversized vehicles, or heavier-duty vehicles is a plus.

Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and perform automotive mechanical repairs
• Perform routine maintenance and service
• Install, balance, repair, and service tires
• Read and follow repair orders accurately
• Complete work efficiently while maintaining a high level of quality
• Communicate with service and administrative staff regarding repairs and vehicle needs
• Maintain an organized and safe work area
• Follow T&M Auto policies and procedures
• Work cooperatively with the rest of the T&M team

Qualifications:
• Previous professional automotive repair experience
• Valid driver's license

• Strong mechanical and diagnostic abilities
• Ability to lift 45+ pounds
• Own basic automotive hand tools
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Dependable and able to work independently
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Experience with larger trucks or oversized vehicles is preferred
