The Universal Banker is a versatile and flexible position that plays a pivotal role in ensuring the bank’s ability to provide exemplary service to its retail customers. Universal Bankers are trained to provide efficient, accurate, personal, and comprehensive sales and service regardless of where they are stationed in the branch Universal Bankers can provide a wide variety of products and services including all teller functions as well as customer service functions. The Universal Banker will rotate between the teller line and the customer service office as management and business requirements dictate. While on the teller line, the Universal Banker should cross sell products and services, and be equally adept at opening accounts while stationed at the teller line or at a desk.
