ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:

As an Undersea Systems Advanced Systems Engineer - IPT Lead, you’ll lead a cross functional team responsible for supporting Requirements Management, Requirements Derivation/Decomposition, Test Procedure development from derived requirements, and support running developed test procedures for a TS/SCI Undersea Program. This team develops the technologies, products, and services that help our nation’s heroes keep our nation safe. The work is important and the challenges are career-defining.

While on-site, you will be a part of the Pittsfield, MA facility. General Dynamics Pittsfield, MA Office

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field. Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience. Agile experience preferred.   

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:: Department of Defense Top Secret security clearance should be active and transferable at date of hire - OR - processing should begin prior to hire date.  Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
