Local nonprofit seeking a Finance Manager to support the organization’s financial operations during a period of significant growth. This role will oversee core financial functions including budgeting, financial reporting, grant tracking, and operational financial management supporting our housing development and community programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Support development and monitoring of the organizational budget
- Prepare internal financial reports and monitor financial performance
- Track grant budgets and prepare required financial reports for funders
- Support financial statement preparation and month-end processes
- Assist with annual audit preparation and financial compliance
- Oversee financial tracking
- Provide financial oversight for our affiliate associations, including budgets, financial reporting, and financial coordination
- Maintain strong financial documentation and internal controls
Core Technical Skills
- Financial statement preparation and general ledger management
- Budget preparation and variance analysis
- Grant financial tracking and reporting
- Month-end financial close processes
- Strong Excel and financial systems experience
Candidates should demonstrate strong attention to detail, the ability to communicate financial information clearly, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
