Roofing Repair Technician
PLEASE NOTE: YOU MUST be very comfortable working on roofs of all heights and steepnesses. Must be comfortable and trained on using ladders and a safety harness. This is not a ground position.
This person is responsible for the following but is not limited to;
- Ability to assess roof damage to provide a course of action to resolve the customer's concerns
- Carpentry Experience
- Roofing experience on both asphalt and rubber membraned roofs
- Ability to repair / replace flashing, ridge vents, install roofing vents, boots, skylights
- Provides customer with estimate for requested work
- Collects a signed contract prior to start of repair
- Collects payment at completion of job
- Communicates / schedules repair date and time with customer and Roofing Division Manager
- Ability to work safely and follow direct orders / contracts
- Knowledge of roofing procedures and materials
- Ability to work and take direction with others
- Ability to carry 50lbs independently
- Ability to work outside in challenging weather conditions
- Ability to stand, move and work on a ladder
- Valid drivers license. Ability to pass DOT physical.
