Event Setup Assistant (Per Diem / On-Call)

Pay Range:
$25.00 – $30.00 per hour, depending on experience
Compensation will be provided to assist with travel expenses.

Schedule:
Per diem / temporary on-call position through approximately October.
Events are primarily scheduled during the summer and fall months. Advance notice will be provided whenever possible so candidates can plan accordingly.

Location:
Travel throughout Berkshire County, MA required.

Job Overview:
Our Client, a well-respected financial institution in Berkshire County, is seeking a dependable and energetic Event Setup Assistant to support their Community Support Department during local events and community initiatives.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, flexibility, and being part of community events. The Event Setup Assistant will be responsible for transporting, setting up, and breaking down tents and event materials at various locations throughout Berkshire County.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and break down tents, tables, signage, and event materials
  • Assist with loading and unloading event equipment
  • Ensure event areas are clean, organized, and presentable
  • Travel to various event locations throughout Berkshire County
  • Follow safety procedures while handling equipment
  • Represent the organization professionally at community events

Qualifications:

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required
  • Dependable, punctual, and flexible schedule
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Ability to work independently and follow directions
  • Prior event setup, labor, or customer service experience is helpful but not required

Additional Information:
This is a temporary, on-call opportunity expected to continue through October. Hours will vary based on event schedules and community activities.
