Maintain accurate daily financial records for multiple properties, including rent receipts, owner draws, and operating expenses.
Process accounts payable: review, code, and enter vendor invoices; schedule payments; and maintain organized documentation.
Process accounts receivable: record tenant payments, track outstanding balances, and assist with delinquency follow-up when needed.
Perform regular bank and credit card reconciliations and ensure transactions are properly classified in the general ledger.
Assist with payroll-related data (hours, classifications, etc.) for maintenance personnel and other staff in coordination with management and external payroll providers.
Prepare simple monthly reports (e.g., income/expense summaries, property-level statements) for owners and management.
Support annual tax preparation and periodic audit requests by maintaining organized digital and physical files.
Maintain orderly filing systems for leases, vendor contracts, W-9s, and other financial documents.
Communicate professionally with owners, tenants, vendors, and the management team regarding billing or account questions.
