Real Estate Loan Processor

Location: Pittsfield, MA
Schedule: One-year commitment starting in January 2026
Pay: $22–$24/hr, depending on experience

About the Role
Join a busy Mortgage Department supporting real estate loan processing in accordance with Credit Union policies and regulatory guidelines. This role ensures accuracy, timely documentation, and excellent service to members throughout the loan process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enter and maintain real estate loan data in the origination system; prepare disclosures, commitment letters, and supporting documents.

  • Review and verify loan details including rates, terms, fees, and required documentation; follow up on missing information.

  • Track deadlines (purchase contingencies, appraisals, incomplete notices) and keep members informed of file status.

  • Re-disclose files when circumstances change (rate locks, product changes, new information) and document updates for audit purposes.

  • Review files for compliance with lending policies, including credit scores, DTI, and LTV requirements.

  • Ensure adherence to state and federal regulations.

  • Support cross-team workflow through effective communication and collaboration.

  • Represent the Credit Union positively in the community as needed.

  • Flexibility for occasional overtime and Saturday hours.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • 2+ years mortgage processing experience preferred.

  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and analytical skills.

  • Excellent customer service and written communication abilities.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and general office software.
