Payroll & Accounts Payable Specialist
Direct Hire Opportunity | Well-Known Berkshire County Non-Profit
Salary: $45,000 – $55,000/year

We’re seeking a detail-oriented finance professional who can own payroll while supporting accounts payable and billing functions. If you’re organized, reliable, and take pride in accuracy—this is a strong fit.

What You’ll Do

  • Process accurate bi-weekly payroll, including overtime and deductions
  • Review and audit timesheets for accuracy and compliance
  • Maintain employee payroll records in partnership with HR
  • Prepare and submit payroll taxes and benefit-related filings
  • Generate and distribute monthly billings across programs and properties
  • Process invoices and support accounts payable workflows
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close, including 1099s
  • Maintain organized financial records and support audits
  • Collaborate across departments and assist with AP support/training

What You Bring

  • Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Bachelor’s a plus)
  • 2+ years of payroll and/or accounts payable experience
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Solid understanding of payroll and basic accounting principles
  • High level of discretion with confidential information
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
