Our client is seeking an Engraving Plating Technician to join their manufacturing team in Pittsfield, MA. This hands-on role supports cylinder engraving, plating operations, equipment maintenance, and production coordination in a fast-paced industrial environment.
PAY:
$19.00 – $20.00 per hour
SCHEDULE:
Day Shift – Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
(Opportunity for shorter Fridays depending on business needs)
LOCATION:
Pittsfield, MA

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with cylinder engraving, finishing, chroming, and inspection
- Perform data entry and maintain production records/logs
- Support cylinder movement and production logistics
- Coordinate engraving orders and production requests
- Inspect and maintain engraving/plating equipment
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
QUALIFICATIONS
- Reliable with strong attendance and punctuality
- Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer and data entry skills
- Comfortable working around chemicals in a manufacturing setting
- Mechanical aptitude preferred
- Knowledge of Safety Data Sheets (SDS) is a plus
