Packaging Associate
Location: Middlefield, MA
Pay Rate: $18.50/hour to start
Job Type: Temporary-to-Hire
Hours: 40 hours a week, M-F, Days (some flex after training)
Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable, self-motivated Packaging Associate for a wholesale distributor of new age products. This position involves receiving products in bulk and preparing them for resale by measuring and packaging items according to weight, volume, or quantity.
This is a hands-on role in a casual work environment that is well suited for someone who enjoys staying busy, working independently, and taking pride in getting the job done.
Responsibilities

Receive and handle products delivered in bulk.

Measure, weigh, and portion products according to packaging requirements.

Package and label products for resale.

Maintain an organized and clean work area.

Assist with moving larger items and materials, including occasional use of a pallet jack.

Follow established procedures for product handling and packaging.
Requirements

Reliable transportation to and from the Middlefield work location.

Ability to stand for extended periods.

Ability to frequently bend, stoop, and lift 35–50 lbs.

Comfortable working with a variety of products, some of which may be highly aromatic or have a fine, powder-like consistency.

Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently.
Work Environment
The workplace has a casual atmosphere and offers an onsite kitchen and gym.
Many products have distinct aromas, and some are very fine or powder-like in consistency, similar to dust. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is provided. Individuals with fragrance, airborne particle, or other environmental sensitivities should consider whether this type of work environment is a good fit.
